Default radix w/true duals??

See current mods in sig.

I have a set of coated pacesetter shorties coming (got uncoated ones, and had them coated) What should I do with the exhaust afterwards? I am ditching the cats, so should I run true duals with an x-pipe to 2 40 series? Should I use something else? I know you don't want true duals with an NA truck, but with 9 lbs of boost I don't think I need it anymore.

Throw some ideas at me!

I'd run an x-pipe with something quieter than 40 series flowmasters with no cats they make a lot of metallic noises.

Well, FI likes less/no back pressure. A higher flow muffler will help quite a bit...Dynomax or Magnaflow.

Any particular muffler? Would you also do an X-pipe? If so, so you mean just something small or does it need to be a large x-pipe?

retsell do a 2.5 x pipe into either 2.5 inch bullets or 1 chambers, the flow will be very high and the spercharger will like that their is very little back pressure, plus it will sound awesome.

Too loud! I don't want it to be annoying, that's why I was thinking maybe magnaflow.

I actually borrowed a friends camaro SS tonight, he has cam, patriot stage 2 heads, 4.10s, 3800rpm stall, longtubes and dual flowmaster single chambers dumped under the car. It sounds freakin awesome, so I am actually rethinking my previous ideas...

How quiet do you want it? The X-pipe will quieten it down ALOT. I think the X pipe will also cause some restriction, unless you get one of the really good ones that don't look constrictive.

When mine finally runs long enough to worry about it ... I'm planning on running a pair of Hooker Aero Chambers with my gutted cats and no X-pipe. You should give then a try so I will know if I want that or not. I heard a sound clip of a f-body with those and that's what sold me. VERY deep and mellow, but throaty too.

Sort of a different application but I just put Dynomax welded ultraflos with 2.5 x pipe on my Malibu. It has a mild 383 street motor and has never sounded so good. They are very quiet till to open it up. I also was able to match my previous best time with the car with no other changes but the exhaust. Before that time was in high 60 degree weather. Friday when I matched the time it was over 90 and very high humitity. When it cools back down I expect 2-3 tenths better.

The same mufflers are on a friend of mines 69 camaro with a stroked LS1. Its makes almost 450 RWHP NA. They sound great on his car also.
