Default Radix vs . Sts turbo

ok lets say some one was pondering between the 2 for a 6.0 and upgrading to the 43 lbs injectors, what would the power , drivability, towing and gas mileage between the to be??? since the turbo is quite a bit cheaper if its as good it looks like the better deal. p.s probably be mated to a comp 212/218 high lift and "offroad" ypipe with magnaflow muffler w/ nelson tune going on a Crewcab 4x4.

The turbo is cheaper??!! I didnt know about that. I would think tuning and such would be much more difficult with the turbo. I would also think that would be more complicated to correctly troubleshoot since few have gone that route.
On the other hand a turbo is the ultimate FI setup. Parish's truck is sick!!

if your running the stock 6 psi sts has, tuning shouldn't be to much of a problem I have been asking about this also. Allen(farmtruk) will be putting on on with alcohol injection system. I would try it if I had te money right now. Also the STS turbo is pretty much hidden and unless someone looks good under the hood or knows exactly what their looking at they wont have a clue. Now with the radix, as soon as you pop the hood they know you have a blower unles their a serious dumb ***. Parish truck is sick.

the sts retail is 3995 while the radix is 5000 plus so yeah that part is cheaper. I dont know how hard it would be to tune but i put faith in nelson tunning.

Would be interesting to see two equal trucks, one with a radix and one with the STS turbo......Lets Race! Battle of the power adders!

1 RCSB Radix 5.3 7 psi
1 RCSB STS 5.3 7 psi
1 RSCB CMTurbo 5.3 7 psi

Keep the tuning that the power adder comes with....just let the power adder do the work!

Could be fun huh?

It depends on your driving habits and what you want to accomplish.
Both will give similar mpg if you keep your foot out of it.

The Radix is just instant power and moves, quickly. The turbo of course is just as powerful but will build it's boost as rpms climb.

I think this is a very tough comparison, they are two completely different setups, however they both share awesome power.

Ok, let's do it blownchevy. I'll get the turbo kit and you send me a Radix, lol.

Your cam would be fine with the Radix but would be wrong for the turbo.

A small cam with about 4-6* reverse split.
