Oh boy .,.. hear we go again.

Just FYI, my blower's holding up fine spinning the motor to 6500 with the 3.1" pulley. I have a 2.9 inch pulley sitting on my desk right here that I plan on putting on as soon as I get the vibration straight.

Not quite sure what the plans are going to be yet. I really like the complete package of Radix. In addition, the truck can really benefit from an upgraded cam or heads and cam. I guess for now I will continue forth with the others mods while the blower eats at my concious.

On a side note, is there a need to retune the PCM after a TC change, specifically a TT3000? If needed, why would you need to update the PCM?

I have done a little research myself. Unfortunately, the retention is not there. I remember reading a minimum of 114 lsa is needed. Use yahoo or google and search for "camshafts explained". There are a couple of good articles from Chevy High Performance and Car Craft.

Not really any need for just the converter. I would put a shift kit in there when you do the converter as well though. Then you could get the torque management removed.

That is good to know. As you can see from the sig, I am limited in what my mods can be with the tuner I have (currently). However, this will allow me to get to the point I need to be before serious PCM changes may be required. Not to change the flow of the thread, but I believe I would try to do it myself, of course with help of forums. The cost of the software is equivalent to the first edit and there will be no wait time for updates.

A shift kit, servos and looser converter got me .7 in the 1/4. That was with no computer tuning yet too.
