Did you get a mail order tune or in person when you went to the 3.2? So would I be completly insane to add a NO2 setup or is that even possible with a Radix? Say a......75 shot?

I ran a 3.0" pulley on a 5.3 with no problems.I was seeing about 9lbs of boost.I was also running long tube headers which will lose about 1/2lb of boost.I doubt you'll see much KR unless you run at full throttle long enough to elavate your IAT,even so I would recomend you running an upgraded heat exchanger if your kit didn't come with it.

Ideally I would just go in for a tune, have them install the 3.25" pulley, and tune the vehicle after the pulley install. This is the ideal scenario and what I would recommend to a friend, as well as what I would do myself.

Since you seem to not have that as an option, the next best thing is to put the pulley on yourself, and drive around while logging PCM data. First drive around normally and ensure there is no KR. Then increase your throttle while still monitoring for KR, building up throttle.

Since you don't have logging software, you are taking a risk by slapping on the pulley and expecting everything to be okay - especially since you don't know how aggressive your tune is now. Detonation is bad, and can kill a motor. I've seen what it can do to pistons, etc, and it ain't pretty.

Disclaimer: This is all just my opinion.

I've heard that Westers tunes are pretty conservative but I don't know. I won't be swapping pulleys until I find a tuner I think knows what they are doing. I may have to take road trip. Know of anybody closer than TX to me (FL)?

Boost is only as safe as the Tune, Fuel, and driver.

Point being, if you contact a few of our Florida members, they might be able to put you in contact with a good tuner in you area.
