Thumbs up Radix ordered

Yeah!! Ordered my Radix tonight! Also got an Autometer 2 gauge pod for boost, and fuel pressure, Transgo shift kit/Corvette servos, and Eaton posi unit. Would it be worth it to line up getting a catch can for my blown application? Any other suggestions?

Catch cans are always worth it. I sent one of my amw catch brackets to todd@prodyno to see if it worked with the Radix setup, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet (he must be busy selling all of those superchargers... hehe).

Anyway, I drained about 20 ml from my catch can after 2000 miles of driving, not a lot but not a little.

In response to a query I made a few months ago, I received this email from Todd at Accurate Machine Works....in it he talks about the possible need for a check valve in line with the catch can:

Hey Kevin,

Thanks for the interest in the catch can. As for the check valve, I added it to further help decrease pressure that can be pushed back into the
crankcase while under boost. The pcv itself is a check valve in essence, but I opted to add in an additional check valve on my personal turbo car. It’s
not a must have part, just one more way to help prevent unwanted crankcase pressure. I am using a simple check valve from McMaster Carr
(www.mcmaster.com) part # 7933k33. I’ve seen others use part # 7775k52 which will need barbed fittings. Hope this helps and if you have any
questions please feel free to call or email.

Best Regards,

Todd
I wish someone would do this for a Radix application so we would have that knowledge here.

Thumbs up

Thanks, guys!! Can't wait! Although it might be a little while till I can do the install, as I'm working out of town. But...I'll get the trans beefed up, and the posi installed first, one weekend at a time. Man....I'm hooked now. Just want to get everything done in time to do the Hot Rod Power Tour again!
