Default Radix installed, P0507 code

P0507 code = "Idle Speed Control Engine Speed High Fault"

it idles around 1k then when I tap the gas it will go up to 2 or 3k and very slowly fall back down to 800 or so, then go back up to ~1k

is it the tuning or some other problem?

this is a PCM allen sent me with the Radix tune

and it seems to rev up a bit when the a/c or fan comes on and when I put it into gear

My truck did that for a while when I first installed the new tune and cranked it up. I had a stall as well. It went away slowly over about a week. Im not sure what the code is. Have you tried disconnecting the battery to reset the code and try it again?? Or just go to autozone or one of those places and get it read.

I will try resetting the battery, but I'm pretty sure its just in the tune, I'll call Allen tomarrow and see what he can do

I just took it on a test drive and went up to half throttle and everything seems fine, and yeah.....can you say more power? I love the whine

You've either got some sort of intake leak after the throttle body or you ported your stock throttle body. Check the gasket behind the TB where it bolts to the Radix. Also check all other connections on the Radix. Its possible the Radix isn't sealing up well with the heads.

RPMs will surge from 1000 to 1500 about every 3 seconds at idle.

I really hope its a tuning issue and not a leak somewhere. We were as careful as possible setting it down and used alot of silcone lubricant, so I doubt there would be a leak in the gaskets or anything. I guess I'll get the new tune and go from there.

This is a direct symptom of an intake leak. The slow falling rpms are the pcm using the IAC tables to attempt to get the idle speed under control. Unless those tables were drasticall changed from stock (which I highly doubt), then its a physical problem.

I bet it wants to drive itself down the road, like constant cruise control. If its bad enough, it will take off on its own, build up mph and shift gears like you have a the throttle lightly pressed down.
