Default Radix injectors?

I ordered a radix this week. I will not be able to use the 42lb injectors that come with the kit, I will have to use my stock 38lb injectors because of my "flex-fuel" vehichle.

I will want to sell the 42lb injectors that come with the radix. How much can I sell them for? What are they worth?

Thanks, Paw

Cool

Did you tell Magnuson or their dealer about the injectors in your truck when you ordered the Radix. I am sure the tune is set up for the 42lb injectors and will need to be adjusted for the 38Lb flex fuel injectors. Not 100% sure about that but I would confirm it with Magnuson before you install the Radix and it's tune. Nix that if you are using the Westers' tune just make sure Lyndon knows what injectors you are using.

Here is a link to some comparable 44lb injectors from Racetronix to give an idea of how much they are worth.

Default Been There, Done that!!

Here's some info, First hand 'cause I have a flex fuel Radix'd Tahoe.

1. The injectors that come with the Radix will not even clip into your wire harnesss unless you buy new clips and solder them on. The connection for Flex Fuel injectors are different.
2. You will need a tune designed for the FF (Flex Fuel) injectors. Be it from Magnacharger or Allen or.....
3. The FF injectors are shorter and require bolt spacers from Magnacharger or the Radix/Fuel Rail will not go on right.

You NEED to call Brian at Magnacharger ASAP and tell them you have a FF truck before they send the wrong computer program, missing the spacers and you have to wait weeks to ship parts back and get the right ones. It may even save you a few bucks because you won't need the 42# injectors or the in-line fuel pump. Let me know how it goes
Chris

Would you be able to use those to replace the injector plugs and make it work?

If you replace the clips with the ones that will mate up to the bigger injectors then you could use them. You would need the tune to match whatever injector you decide to go with. If you stick with 42# injectors you may need the in-line fuel pump as well.

No problem. PM me if you have questions, I'll try to help out. By the way, Nice truck. How do you like the 4:56 gears? I have 4:10's and an Eaton in my garage (for 2 months now) waiting to go in. I was wondering IF I should have gone 4:56. Did you have 3:73's stock?

Well, you know these trucks are heavy as crap, so I figured i'd need the extra getup down low. Big diff over 3.73. The guy who installed them tried to talk me into 4.10's. I'm glad I went with the 4.56's. Not sure my tranny will agree once the radix is on.

Subject: Multec 2 Injector Plug

Do you happen to have the plugs for the Multec 2 injectors? I have a
Flex Fuel vehicle. 02 GMC Yukon 5.3 and I am looking into getting the
Radix system which uses Multec 2 injectors.

Yes, we can provide them in parts or assembled with leads.
$5.00 each as parts (terminals, connector, locks (2), seals) or $7.50
assembled.

I think you made the right decision with the 4.10's SLOW...putting 4.56's in a 10-bolt is asking a lot of that weaker pinion on the smaller gear set. Don't think the heavy weight of the Tahoe together with the torque of the Radix will be very kind to them. The shop that installed them (a place that does diffs for lots of pros) said I was pushing it with 4.10's in a 10-bolt.
