You have to remember one thing....He is on Cali crap gas and nothing else. I think he is asking alot of the 91 craptane here in Cali with 10 psi. I think 7-8 psi with a good tune will net him better results. Look at flyer and what he is doing on on the 3.4 pulley and a cam/tune. mid to high 13's are easy for a truck that plants the power.

I doub't it's a lack of tuning knowledge as Rick has tuned my truck with zero problems and making a tons more power and numerous other FI cars that are hitting close to 700rwhp.

There is another issue here I think. I was rackin my brain trying to figure out what it could be when Rick called me yesterday to verify that the old dyno was 370rwhp.
where you measure IAT's it would seem high to you

I did make some 12 second runs on ~7 psi. Not just one either ...

I still think the tune could be hammered out though.

Didn't we decide that the radix measures post intercooler temps just like F8L's setup?

I thought we did?

Not that it is truely the same since his blower touches part of the IC and intake whereas my turbo is too far away to add heat through conduction.

I think Grippy just wanted to hit me with that hammer smiley. :p

Lets not go into it in this thread though. We can make another to debate the differences.

Right, for the Radix, still not sure F8L's IAT's include the added temps from the turbo, did I miss something?

I have decided to go with a 3.25 pulley and an ALKY Control kit. 10 pounds will probably be a problem with the California 91 gas, and I dont want to have to run race gas.

I want to try to make the power by adding timing rather than running more boost. Meth injection will lower the IAT's and allow additional timing.

It's just wierd how people can run 10 pounds and have no problems, and my engine was knocking like crazy. struggling to make 300 rwhp!!!! I made 370rwhp with a 3.6 puley when dynoed at Magnacharger.

All in all, very frustrated. Not at anybody, just at myself for not knowing. I should have done more research and understood boost, but it is quite complicated. I will keep everybody updated.
