Default Radiator Swap from 5.3 to 6.0 ????

I may be swapping radiators for the 05' electric Fan swap. I got a good deal on the fans and want to use them. I have never swapped radiators.
Is this a difficult thing to do? I can get the Radiator for $170 is that a good price for brand new? Will I need to get a whole new rad support? is the 6.0 rad year spesific?
Thanks!!!

Unbolt yours, bolt in the new one.

I think you can even use the same radiator hoses.

Yep, and yep. I did have to ditch my Gen2 though because the heat shield used the bolt hole the wider radiator uses. Other than than, direct swap.

What are all the advantages of going to the 6.0L radiator?

The only one is that the newer 05 electric fans will fit.
And for a radiator that cheap Its hard not to do it.

That's a good price for the radiator. Think I paid $220 for mine when I had to buy one for my Flex-A-Lites.

The radiators themselves are a direct swap.

My truck runs ALOT cooler with the 34" radiator. May be something you want to look into since you actually have a 6.0 now.

That's what I was hoping for. I did notice the temp would rise pretty significantly when I first did the swap and it was still pretty hot out. It only did it sitting still, but that is definately on the list for this upcoming spring.

How much more volume is there in the 6.0 radiator? Since i installed my wonderful uncoated headers it will run at 230* if i let it idle for about an hour.
