radiator and elec fan setup

Default radiator and elec fan setup

well i got a 02 gmc sierra, will a 06 truck radiator bolt right in without any modifications? also what are good fans to go with, i know most are running the ls1 fans, i want to out a stock set of 06 truck fans on there but not sure how i would wire it up to work since i know next to nothing about doing any electrical work

I say get the ls1's and the kit from nelson, have them in in and short, for under 225 bucks

I am sure you can get a new pair, but will pay $$$. I picked a set of like new ones up on ebay for 100, they looked new..

Get plenty of pics and check there feed back out, ask questions. I am not totally sure if the rad will fit without any mods

+1 on the Nelson harness, I love mine As for the 34" rad, it will bolt right in, but you have to trim the 2 rubber flaps on both sides of the radiator to clear, and you'll need 2 extra bolts for the efans or rad. The bolt holes are already there in the upper radiator support for the wider rad, and the 05+ efans use the bolt holes that the old 28" rad used to use. If you have a K&N FIPK, you will need to modify it to clear the rad, not sure about all other CAI's though. The stock airbox clears, as does the Volant. I used to have a K&N and had to trim and "adjust" the heat shield to clear the 34" rad, my current Volant clears no problem
