welp got my quote for my cam yesterday.
Going to get a

custom ground comp cam 220/224@114LSA
Comp 918 valvesprings
cam install kit
ls2 timing chain
custom street tune with before and after dyno runs
and 5 hour install

Grand total of about $1100.

 

That is a pretty good deal.

 

thats what i said..and when i pick it up its ready to be romped on..no break in or nothing they will have it all done for me

ya parts and labor..and the same guy thats gettin the parts and doing the labor is doing the tune..one of the only tuners in town

 

His name is Jim voyles he owns CalSpeed and Performance. Ricklowpez and Jaegmc99 both know him, jaegmc99 is on one of his tunes, idk if Rick is or not

id try to get some hardened pushrods and a ported LS6 oil pump while its apart

im still debating on pushrods..he said hes never seen one bend with my size cam..usually only in something making a lot of HP and they are banging gears is what he said
