Default quiet exhaust ?'s

guys, whats a good muffler that isnt screaming loud on these trucks with no cats and LT headers?

I have the round dynomax muffler, not the bullet type, and its just to loud at 55mph. The drone is really bad and its raspy of coarse also down low. I love the idle sound and wot sound. But i need to get something a little less droney and raspy on their. Would the magnaflow help alot with that? I have one on my car and its not to loud at all with no cats and H/C

does anyone have one with no cats and how does it sound?

or do you have any other opinions on mufflers that are fairly quiet but flow somewhat decent?

of the track ill just drop the exhaust pipe off lol

best bet is to go true duel 2.5 and get the biggest DIDO magnaflow made. if thats not enough you can always throw some bullets before the muffler.

go with Borla ProXS.... thats the same I have with no cats and sounds good at idle and WOT, and is really quiet on the highway, no drone or rasp... believe me I went through I few of them till I finally found out.... but now I am waiting for a hooker aerochamber to come in tomorrow in the mail, I have heard so much about it that I finally decided to give it a try!!

also, mine dumps right before the rear axle.. do you think it would help any running about 3-4ft more of pipe to back behind the rear axle?

i love loud, but just the drone is annoying when trying to cruise

yeah, it would help to have a tailpipe for sure. The exhaust just dumping under the bed is like having a big megaphone on it.

Hey I have ASM's L/T's, no cats, and just put dual 14in Borla's single in/out muffler, with 2 1/2in pipe. Really deep and mild while cruizin, and has loud deep tone tone when you on it. I have flowmasters, Magnaflows, and know Borla's and the Borla's are the only ones I have had with no raspy tone. But if you want something really quite get about a 18in Borla or Magnaflow and that should ive you the tone you lookin for.
