Quick question about electric fans..

Default Quick question about electric fans..

ok i gotta quick question..i recently purchased a set of used flex a lite fans and i wanted to test them before i put them into the truck just to make sure they work...how would i go about doing this? thanks!

just wire up the harness to your truck and then plug the fans in. You need to put the harness in anyway do just test it like that

The easy and crazy way to do this is to just put two of the wires to one fan on a + and one to a -. Hold on to the fans!!! They one should come on. Then repeat on the other one. I don't know if you want to try this but.....

can i just touch the wires to my truck battery?

The battery would work. Even a lantern battery will get them going pretty good.

Ya, you can do this..just make sure that you when you touch the wires to the posts, do it quick. The fans draw alot of amps...It will spark a good amount if you dillydaddle........HAHA...Hopes this helps.
