the 02' should have the shorter, standard crank with a spacer on it so you can use it with any tranny

what about a standard trans? didnt know if that would make a difference seeing an auto uses a TC where the standard needs to have the input shaft long enough to reach the pilot bearing

i found out on my 4.8 with nv3500, model year 2000 that the crank was indeed longer like the earlier 6.0...I think he has a nv3500 as well

The 99-00 had he longer cranks, after that they went to the shorter crank shafts.. If the motor has iron heads it has the long crank in it...

na its got 317s on it so its got the 'normal' length crank...i think the input shaft on the nv3500 is gonna be too short and wont reach the pilot bearing...your prolly gonna have to get a t56 before you do your 6.0 swap...keep searching and let us know what you find out...
