Used cam on tech is 200 bucks, you are telling my you cant squeeze that out between now and when you do the swap? I would hold off on the swap till you can get cam since its SOOO easy to do out of the truck.

im looking for a 224/224 .581 .581 112 or a 226/226 .581 .581 12 so the 918's will work with either cam...most likely going for the 224 because of my small torque converter.

also trying to avoid any disagreements with the old man. lumpy motors are more likely to get caught with. im still going to college under his money so id rather not **** him off too much. especially when its only about 5 months till graduation.

Oh your right about that! I was just pickin at him for picking at me in my oil pump thread.
I know I'm pretty picky, but I just want my set-up to work out for me and be reliable. You know what I'm talking about I'm sure. The difference between your truck and my truck is mines a DD truck and yours is an occasional driver (if your lucky)

it can be a whole car harness, but the actual coil harness has to be the truck coil harness in order to use truck coils. trust me, I learned the hard way that the ls1 coils will not work on the truck harness, and vice versa.
