First off i have to ask why you want to put a 80e in your truck
The 4l60e can be built to handle some pretty good power Dependin on what you plan on doing with it

To answer you question yes it will bolt up your gonna need a few things
Spearco wiring harness /programming for the 80e to take
crank spacer
dipstick tube
tranny lines depending on year
new torque convertor
have to modify the trann cross member
you'll need to get an adaptor to make the driveshaft to work
Flexplate maybe not sure on that one i'm gonna find out when i put mine in

From the list here it's a costly swap to make it happen
The other down side it the 80e consumes power due to all it's big parts inside
Just ask blownchevy on that one
