Default Questiong on the converter I ordered

ordered a stall today and the guy said that isnt not a lockup converter. Its a TCI street fighter 3000. I thought they were lockup converters? But the guy told me that TCI didnt make a lock up that big for the LS1 and that if I wanted a lock up I would have to go smaller. Is this true or did I get wrong information and get screwed out of 500 dollars? Also he said that it would stall around 3000 and flash to about 3400 is this true?

I am pretty sure that they have a 3000 or even higher that is a lockup converter. Check your part number directly with TCI and make sure it is right. Good luck.
