From what I hear, the camero pan will fit in the trucks but the truck pan will not fit in a camero.
Also I would stick with the truck pan since it holds more oil. At least thats what I'm doing.

I know it holds more but the camero pan prevents shloshing alot better, and for the project I'm doing I need to have stable oil capacities, and control. With the truck pan being so deep it tends to fall off sometimes on oil pressure in real high output. Carcraft says the best oil to prevent that is the camero style which i have sitting in my garage!

Might have different internal baffles. You'll need to run a camaro pick up tube if you use the camaro pan.

The F-body and Vette pans will not fit in the 4wd trucks, the front driveshaft will interfere with the "wings". The wings are where the enhanced baffling is located ( better for high speed cornering to keep the oil in the sump ).
Folks converting non-GenIII motor vehicles over like the truck pan since it is deeper and compensates for the loss of pan capacity when cutting it up to fit over the engine cradle.
Stick with the truck pan IMHO.....

The F-body pan does not have the wings like the Vettes do.

Yep the camero pan doesnt have the wings on it like the vette!! Only other problem is I sold my truck pan thinking it would work so now im kinda stuck with this option. I just wanted to see if anyone had actual fact that the camero style wont fit. I know the vettes definatley will not fit but the camero is completly different.
