Default Question for Pewter03GMC

I saw the pics you posted and it looks great although I have a few more questions to ask, First, I looked at my fan an it sits right after the fan shroud, in other words even if I cut my fan shroud will it still hit the fan itself, could I just extend the arm that the fan rotates on so the fan is pushed out further giving me the clearance I need? Also My brother has a 96 sierra and he has the FIPK and he tried to add the TBS and the bolts that mount the throttle body weren't long enough, did you have this problem? If so what sized bolts did you use? Sorry for the long post. Thanks for the help!

I think they will work with the stock intake tube. Although not many people on here would recommend a TB spacer.

I had the problem of the actual fan tipping the intake tube at 1st, so you are really going to have to push it as far in as possible and make sure its really tight against the throttle spacer. I had the fear of the tube coming loose and falling into the fan, but that never happened. Just have to crack open the hood every now and then and make sure its still tight even though I never really checked it. The spacer should come with longer bolts, you cant use the stock throttle body bolts because of the extra length the spacer creates. If you have anymore questions, just holler.
