hey how hard was it to do the cal trac traction bars? just wondering if i could do it myself. i emailed cal trac and they said that since i have a 2/4 drop that i would have to get a special part because of the drop. i imagine if i can do my drop that i can do the traction bars, but just wondering if you had any extra information to give?

The only difficult part of the Cal-Trac install was pressing out the old front rubber eyelet bushings and pressing in the aluminum bushings. Other than that, its pretty basic stuff.
The "special part" probably consists of a different pivot plate and only applies if you did a shackle drop. If you are running Hotchkis springs (or any other brand lowering spring) you will be fine.
I am set-up for two stages of nitrous however my mainstay is my 130HP dry kit. I have a single fogger wet kit jetted for 50HP should things call for it use ... but to this date I have never used both simultaneously. The direct port will replace the small wet kit on the new motor combo. The direct port will be complimented by my digital progressive controller to handle the 200 HP I will be flowing.

oxidizr,
what system do you use? i have a dry kit for an f-body i bought for 400 new and was wondering how to hook it up. i am worried because it has to go in front of the MAF and i have a K&N filter. i have no placed to route it besides right before the filter or tapping in to the metal on the front of the filter. i am afraid either way that when activated the N20 will blow right through the filter. i would also like any suggestions on making it a wet kit. i had a wet kit on my old tbi truck and loved it.
