Default Question on Exhaust setup.

Hello all. Rite now I have a Stock 5.3L with a MP122 and Volant CAI. Im running 9.5 boost at peak with a 3.2. This is with a single Magnaflow 5x11x22. The cats are cut out and im running factory man's and Y. After Y its 3" in and out to back. Im installing LPP LT and was wondering if i should use the ORY that came with the LPP's or go true duel 3" with 2 5x11x22 Magnaflow's? Will i need that much exhaust? Will it cut my back pressure to much? Is the 3"Y to a single 3" enough? Should i be looking at a Magnaflow with built in X, duel 3" in and out? Any info would be great. Thank you

I'd use the Y and keep it as big as possible single side for a daily driver. I have true duals, they seem to help mid and up top.

Thank you Trever1t. I will go with the Y and keep the rest as is than. Im built from stock Y to the back with new stuff so ill just install the LT's, Y and flange it up.

That is exactly what I just finished doing with mine a few weeks ago... I have a Gibson cat-back; just installed my pacesetters, with their 3" Y-pipe, which bolted right up to my cat-back, and I am really pleased. Look around the forums at how many people are running the pacesetter setup on boosted trucks, and making good power. That's all the assurance I needed. Be aware that your truck is going to sound quite a bit deeper/louder. That was definitely a good thing with my setup though.
