Question about K&N FIPK?
Did any of you see or feel a difference in power with K&N FIPK on your 03 Chevy Tahoe Z71 5.3? I know its just a air filter but I was curious if any of you noticed a difference or think the kit is worth the money?
Thanks,
Thanks,

I liked mine but it kept coming loose from the throttle body so I sold it and went to a VERY ghetto homemade cold-air setup that I am now trading in for a custom bent acrylic cold-air setup

Slight gain like 7rwhp from 3800rpms on up. You can get these pretty cheap used or a better deal like I got mine at cost... Also the WOT sound difference kicksass!
I have always liked open filter kits over closed off. To get the most of the UPD you will need to modify the stock bottom part of the intake box for some more flow. I'd also take the metal plate out for more flow.
