Question about harness during engine swap

Swapping over my 4.8 to 6.0 this weekend, my question is about pulling the harness. Whats easiest, pulling the harness with motor, and swaping over outside of truck, or leaving harness in the truck?

In my experience it is just as easy either way. I usually put on engine first though.
