Question question about electic fans

in a 2001 5.3 truck can you get a set of electric fans that fit the factory radiator? and when you put them on can you program them to turn on at certain temps or do you just use a switch? and does the price of this match the gain that you will receive? thanks im new

ls1 fans fit very nice in our truck. You will notice a nice gain specially in summer when your clutch fan is fully engaged.

LS1 fans worked for me also. I have them off of a switch, but I'm really looking forward to getting Nelson's harness. It realy becomes a problem when your wife drives your truck and forgets to turn ON the switch. That is scary. . .

flex-a-lite 295's will fit the stock radiator but ls1 fans are cheaper if you can find them used. If you get efans get the nelson harness and control them through the pcm.
