Default question

I kinda have this stupid question for someone. before I put the exhaust on my truck it idled around 700, now it idles about a needle width above 500, I know with the different exhaust theres less restriction, but why would it lower the idling rpm, It kinda bothers me

Try cleaning the MAF sensor and throttle body.

As stated above ~500 is normal idle rpm for these trucks. I wouldnt worry about it.

I suppose aslong as it doesn't shake and make funny noises I shouldn't worry about it, I just thought the average idle for these trucks was around 700 thats all
