Default QTEC question

I have a stock 2003 Yukon 5.3 2wd and wanted to see what size QTEC
cutout I need and where it should be located. If anyone has a diagram /
chart / pictures that would be great.

The Sales group at QTP said to put it on the intermediate pipe before
the muffler. They suggested a 3" cutout since they thought the int pipe
was 2 3/4" pipe.

I just wanted to check with the experts and see if I was heading down
the right track.

thanks,

I beleive that will work if not the exhaust shop can just fill in the small gap with their mig welder. You will love the way it makes your truck sound.

You are going to lose bottom end without any backpressure and especially without having a stall.
