Yeah can you give exactly what you bought for that tubing? That looks awesome! I want to use my stock box just not that restricting looking stock tube. Also with this work with the fan shroud in place?

i dont thik this will work with the stock box...the UPD lid sits higher than factory and i had to take off some of the neck on the water pump so the pvc wasnt burried into the radiator hose. the hose still touches but not as bad...

it wasnt as simple as it looks. there was alot of sanding on the inside of the 4" pvc elbow so that it would slip over the throttle body with the factory rubber coupling over it. i still have more to do to it but it wasnt bad for a 30 minute throw together. if i had to do it again i would probably get a 4" to 3.5" reducer for the elbow but i found the pvc elbow outside of my apt so i used it instead.

You can find the 90 degree bend in rubber too. I used the 4" style, then trimmed the ends off. I made my own airbox lid and velocity stack using fiberglass resin, an old T-shirt, and some sheet metal (to make the pipe ends to connect to the tube). I wish I would have built the lid up higher to sit like the UDP one... kinda came to that same result after building mine and wishing I could have used a 45 or straight pipe instead of the 90 I used.

Here's the last test fit before smoothing it out and painting it black.

Here's some more pics and a write up over on silveradoss.com forums.
