That sounds vary close you should be within spec, like stated above it's always best to check and be sure, you can be off .030 eaither way and not damage anything, but for correct valve movement and least valve train noise I like to be within.010

 

FWIW, I used 7.325" pushrods with LS7 lifters and heads milled 0.022, this gave me around 0.075 preload (measured via a pushrod length checker and a dial indicator) . And I used 7.350" pushrods with the LS7 lifters and stock heads.

Make sure you measure a handful of valves for pushrod length.

Pushrod length will vary from motor to motor, so take peoples' suggestions with a grain of salt.
