i just tied my nuts in a knot so they couldn't go anywhere and got that heavy pig of a tranny under my truck and on a jack. it should be running tonight but i dont know if i will have a good report on it right away. chuck wanted me to put 100 miles on the tranny and 50 lock up cycles on the converter before i beat on it.

Nice job!

50 lock up cycles should go pretty quick with EFILIVE.

first problem, the converter bolts are spaced for a smaller circle. PI is telling me it is too expensive to make a new cover and i need to get a flex plate from a 98 ls1 car since it is drilled for both bolt paterens.

it would have been real nice if he had told me about this when it was ordered. everyone is telling me to just drill it and put in the right flex plate when i swap to the 408 so thats what i am going to try and do.

Did they know that this was going to go on an LS1 motor? They asked me when I ordered mine if mine was and they said they had change the cover on mine for that. I dunno if thats what your talkin about with this or not.

Damn Parish, that's a biggun. I'm about to order one like it. I wonder if it comes in a more lavender tone?

The reason they are pink is because that is his wife's (Vickie) favorite color. And also if they ever get too hot they turn red which voits warranty. Kinda smart if you ask me.
