pulling valve covers
#1
Been having power issues with the truck along with a loud tic noise mixed in with the normal sewing machine noise of the valve train..is loud and sounds awful. I have changed my fuel filter, ran sea foam, changed pcv valve, changed plugs, tracked down a miss fire on cylinder 5(sparkplug porceline was cracked) and still runs slow. I am thinking about pulling the valve covers to inspect the rockerarm assembly and push rods. I have been reading my GM Perfomance book and it doesnt look that hard. Will I need new gaskets or adhesive for gaskets or any special tools?....I have a basic tool set. I have never pulled the valve covers off before so before I get all greasy again and tear into it was just wondering if you all have any helpful advice.
-Thanks in advance

just follow the directions..
remove coil packs, and then loosen the bolts on the covers, and remove..
