Default Pulling out the stall

Allright guys, this week I will be pulling out my TCI and puttin my stock converter back in. Do you guys think that I will have any problem with the truck not wanting to run with the cam still in it?

your lack of aftermarket stall will make your truck a pig but it will still run. may try to run through your idle if its too high but other than that, no worry

Yep, if your idle is raised for the cam coming to a stop will be a little tougher with the tighter stock converter.

you'll be ok if you can get it retuned for a little less idle

Ok guys, As long as it will be ok... I dont really wanna pull out the cam but if I have to then I will. The reason is 1 because my g/f and I just had a baby and her car doesnt have a/c. She will be driving it for a while. But it really wouldnt matter if I pulled it out but that leads me to reason number 2. I'm not sure what is going on with this converter but If you go out of town on a long trip or something the tranny will get too hot. I dont have a tranny tempguage but it will pop up in my display center. Then go into the stupid mode where it delays shifts. Also when you come to a red light or something it will buck like a horse. I'm thinking it needs to go back to TCI so they can fix the lockup.

It'll be fine, i've got that same cam except on a 114 LSA, and I run my stock converter. I don't know why people say it'll be a pig down low, mine's not.
I had a TCI 3000 in mine, but it wouldn't lock up right, so I pulled the TCI out and put the stock converter in it. I liked it so much I left it in. It hooks much better and still runs good at the track.

the lock-up issue seems to be a problem with the tci verters.
i'm still running one but it's the upgraded one with the billet cover.
it f'd up on me for 2 days then decided to start working again.
we'll see if it is hurt when i get back home
