Also when manually shifting it takes some time for the trans to shift after you move the gearshift (has to think about it I guess...), and the whole time the engine speed is still climbing...

yeah, on one run i accidently hit the rev limiter a few times on 2nd because i was waiting on the tach to hit the 6k mark. my speedo was around 93-95 which is alot higher than ive ever shifted 2-3. it normally shifts at about 83 from 2-3 when i let the truck shift on its own. i need to just get allen to tune it to shift at 6100-6200 rpm next time i see him.

now that i think about it i think it was the run in this video that i hit the limiter...

Hrmm...IDK I have to change out the plugs for one thing and I need a re-tune but haven't gotten around to it...We'll see...I would like to see you make a few passes though...

gonna have to have them turn the lights out so no one can see

ya.. you can up those shifts. the 2-3 could probably shift around 6200 or 6300... hey 01thunder, while we on the subject.. what are your shift points at? I think i might calm mine down a bit... shifting at 6700 in the 2-3 is too high for these 4.10.. probably 6500 or 6400 might better i think.

I think I have finally found the combo...
the truck freaking pulls up top...
I will have to see Friday how it wants to act at the track..
