Right, I forget you aren't running an intercooler. Have you tried bumping the fuel pressure up 1 or 2 psi?

Xylene - use about 3 gallons per 20 gallons, or roughly a 15-20% mix. It also helps to add some MMO (marvel mystery oil), sold at Advance Auto Parts. It's the other option and tends to get expensive, that's why I like race gas...or alcohol injection. However, if it's not available, the Xylene is a good immediate option.

yes,, the fuel pressure was bumped up over stock.

i was just thinkin of doin it for a 1 tank basis before i swap in the 6.0 i just want to see how much psi this pully will make on the 5.3 before i yank it out.

i would except for the fact ive already blew 4 rings out of my current motor.
cylinder 7 has no compressoin, #2 is almsost no compressoin, #4,and 5 are at half compresson. It barely runs. Hence why im gettin a 6.0

YIKES! Yea, I didn't know that but I'm sure the 5.3 (if not sick) would do nicely with 10-12lbs. of boost-e-yea. Good luck on the 6.0L, I want to sell me pre-82 block in the Monte and get a 6.0L so it will match my truck.
