Default propane to improve milage on gas motor?

I wonder if you can run a little LPG in a gas motor to up the mpg. With the wonders it works in diesels it must do something in gas motors. It would be cool to have a togel switch for highway driving and save gas on long trips.

I guess I could rig something up and try it out. Any suggestions?
