Trust me, Allen will be tuning this pig. I'm not upset with my tune from Jesse, but it's not optimized for 93 octane...that's HP untapped.

It looks like the TR224 is the cam of choice as it stands...but if it's "average" on a 6.0, what's just above "average" for the 6.0?

what part of the cam spec "decides" the stall that will be needed? lift, duration, lsa?

I'm trying to learn something here, lol.

ill be running around a 2900-3000 stall. i went small so when spraying it should be somewhere around 3500rpms since a stall usually jumps up 500 rpms or so when juice is used.

as for what stall its all the specs really. its where the cam doesnt have power and where it starts to make power. i could go larger but i shoudl be fine where im at. the extra cubes with 410s will help out with low end. also a cam like that benefits from a LS6 intake. the RPM range is from 1800 to 6400rpms. they call it the torquer. now you can get that cam with either 112 113 114 off the shelf but if you say you want advanced ground in they will. i tried to get it with a 110 but decided not to chance P/V but if i woudl of i would have a better DCR then i currently do now. im about 8.12 and ideal is around 8.5 DCR. im also about 10.97-11.1 SCR. i before thougth i was only 10.9 but had someone do my math for me and thats what they came up with which makes mroe sense

*cough* Custom Grind *cough*

Seriously that TSP or whatever cam is too big for that heavy pig you are running. You would need an extremely loose converter for that cam (way higher stall) Like i said, you can pay for a production cam but if you want something to match your specs go with a custom grind.

Are you calling my truck fat?

I want to keep the stall at no more than 3000, and I'm not looking to break records or anything. I'm considering most all options at this point...including a custom grind
