Default Programming 4:10 gears

Hey this is my first post, I installed 4:10 gears, eaton posi, and 3000 yank, a couple of days ago, and I can't get my predator to correct my speedo, I've tried programming it at all different times and outside temps. But no luck, I haven't had any other problems with the programming besides that though. Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas on what i should do??

Hey welcome to the site!
What do you mean it won't do it for you? Is it giving an error or something?
Sorry, I don't have the Predator but I know the guys that do will chime in.

I had the same problem with mine.I believe some Predators had a software problem with the speedometer/gear feature. One fix for this is to change your tire sizes in the Predator.Enter factory tire size as 235/75/16 then put in for actual tire size 275/40/16.That worked for me until I got the updated program.Where did you get you Predator? If you got it from running with the devil you can contact James and he can fix it for you.He can send you a corrected program through email. You will need a serial cable and power adapter for you Predator. He can tell you what to get.If you bought it somewhere else they should be able to fix it as well.If not...contact James

Have you checked the real time data to see how far it is off?
Also do what Ranwalk said with the tire size, My predator had me running 17" size from the factory.
I have a yank and 4:10 on my 99 and the predator didn't like the yank at first. It pulled timing so much at wot throttle it felt like I was pulling a trailer. I had a custom tune burned in From Johan at Diablo sport and it's working better, but still needs tweaking.
James at rwtd or Johan can help.

Johan is at Diablo and his email is

Dont make that bet Tony...his isn't Yellow. If I remember correctly his truck is Pewter. There is a yellow chevy Regency truck just a few miles from my house that was actually different than mine.It came with the cowl hood, different wheels, had a rear bumper, round exhaust tips and the graphics were different. Most of them I've seen though look pretty much how mine and Cody's started out.If it werent for the headrest you'd never know mine started out as a Regency conversion
