Default Procharger guys-new intake from ATI! 56K beware-pics

Well, well, well. It looks like Procharger finally addressed the fact that the truck kits have a suck *** intake setup. A guy who got a new kit sent me a pic of his intake piece, and I was like-I really need this. I called ATI, and the tech said he had never heard of it. I hounded him, and he went and checked with someone else. They do, in fact include a new piece that was made for the H2 kit.
I asked him if he could send me one. He said they would ahve to charge me. I hounded some more. Finally I got it for 25 bucks plus shipping(I think 15 for 2 day Fed Ex.) Got it today, put it on. Works great! I need to take it back off and do some trimming of the soft piece off the MAF, but it will be fine for the winter.
Here are some pics of before, and after. BTW the plastic ends have a piece of CNC band inside them to hold the clamping force. Thanks Kyle for the pic you sent me. I wouldn't have got one if it wasn't for you. Also thanks GMCSKI for all your help. Sam

Sweet, do you happen to have a part #? Now if they could come up with a better air filter location...That would rock!!!!!

That is really nice sam. I think I need one now... What we need to do now, is figure out how to get the intake over to the stock filter location. I have a plan in the works.

The guy, I think was Eric. Dorian is pretty helpful if you can get him.

I've always though the same thing. Their pre-'99 truck kits are the same way.
