Default problem prone areas, checks...

hey guys,

i havent driven my truck in a year! my wife has been driving it and maintaining it for me while ive been away.

i love her, and i trust her, but im sure shes not near as picky as i am.

when i get home, i want to do a full check on her, make sure shes good to go, but my mind is running blank on spots i wanna check out, what problem areas have u guys found, that needed attention, what would u check out, i mean, not talking about fluids, and such, but any other areas you guys noticed around 60k miles. leak prone areas,

would yall do a complete fluid flush? i run mobile 1 oil, tranny, and rear end. i havent messed with my brake, or power steering fluid, i also run prestone in the radiator.

other than periodic oil changes at 3000 miles, i never really got under there and did my own greasing, i might need to do that as well.

what would yall do in my situation?? what would yall check?? other than the obvious. noticed any prone areas?

jared

Mine only has 21K but definitely lube the front end and driveshaft(if applicable). I'd probably change the brake fluid because it attracts dirt and moisture. I don't think you have to worry about PS fluid other than a level check.

Well thats just as bad. Perverts

As long as shes been driving it once in awhile, you shouldnt have anything to worry about.

I'm sorry I cant be of more help but I haven't kept the same engine or tranny for more than 20K miles so I dont know how they act after that...
