Default Prob fixed cause I'm a dumb A$$

How often do we over look the easiest stuff? I was having a problem with a bad miss that developed after dynoing my truck. It couldnt be plugs, I had already changed them. Couldn't be wires, they were new too. I pulled all the pushrods, and they were straight. I pulled my O2 sensors and heated them up enough to burn off everything that was on them. Still had the miss, but only when it was warm, and under a load. I even put the factory PCM back in. Even put the factory wires back in. I decided I would change the O2's plug wires, then buy a 6.0. Got to thinking about work, I'm an instrument technician so I have good troubleshooting skills, and decided the wires could be getting hot, and the amp dram was too much for them to handle, but the same thing was happening with two different sets of wires. Anyway Just for sh(t$ and giggles I stopped by O'reilly to start changing parts. Got a set of their wires (thats all that was in stock) changed them in the parking lot. Problem solved. So far. I'm such a dumb a$$ overlooking the obvious.

Most every time it is the easy things, its just a matter of how much it cost you to get there.A lot of people over think the diagnostics.Glad you found it and it was a simple fix.

Most ofter the problem is related to the last thing that was monkied with under the hood.

Thats what threw me. I did the plugs/wires before the cam. went to the track. Did plugs again. Drove a while (a few days) no probs. Truck came off the dyno, and it broke. Guess the MSD couldn't hack it
