Default Predator Guys in here!

Questions...

I need to know what the 4.8 guys have all the 1-2 shift points set at by
RPM...
MPH...
Trans pressure....

I'm pretty sure my 1-2 is going out. But I would like to compare info. It's like I'm hitting the rev limiter before the shift. I have it set at 5600 and 35mph (which is meaningless at WOT anyway)

Santa needs to bring me a tranny....and a Whipple owners manual

Sorry I haven't been around much, but we are in the middle of a shutdown at work....7 -12's and no days off so far.

mine did that too with the stock trans and predator tuning. i had it set to 5550 and the rev limiter to 5990 and it still did it every once in a while. i think its the predator cause i just put in a flp level 4 a couple weeks ago and it still does it.

1-2 5750
2-3 5850

stock cam fell off at that point. I need to re dyno since I changed my cam
p+e .50 %wot
spark 10.00 %
I got 26 rwhp with this combo

This is off the tranny subject but I need to know some stuff before I go and get a Predator. Octane, does it really matter? Do I HAVE to run it with Premium all the time or can I change the timing enough to run regular. I know the power won't be as great with the regular fuel but it is just too dang expensive to run premium all the time. Second, is the Predator worth the money to you guys? Is it really all that great or would you have done something else if you hadn't have bought the Predator. Any help you guys can give me would be great.

When I had my dyno tuned with it I only had a upd and a single flowmaster. nothing else. I think they work better for close to stock vehicles

Do you still have your's with the cam and everything? My main concern is the fuel thing. Is it as user-friendly as they say? Are there still a lot of glitches in the programs and tunes like I have heard about?

Hey RED2K, what year is your truck? How was it tuned on the dyno?
Thanks, Jim
