Ive installed a set on a 5.3, I never road in it after the truck was dialed in on the tune but the owner seems to really like them. Although I think for the money its hard to beat the WCCH Stage 1 5.3 heads, half the money for most of the performance.

I did get these installed, I dyno'd right after and put down 394 rwhp and 365 rwtq. It was on a Dyno jet. My tuner had some issues with my tune in some areas. Like the converter would lock as soon as I hit 3rd, so it would drop to 3700 rpm. It literally felt like it would fall on it's face. I went 13.6 with it doing that. Now I'm still figuring out the tune, my tuner pretty much did his own thing and no one can figure out what he has done. My comanded afr at idle was 10.45 and my wideband was at 14.7. And that is just some of it. But as far as heads go, I picked up 30 rwhp from them. I paid $700 and I love them

Another thing, when I took the heads to my moms friend shop. He had a set of 243's sitting there all apart. And I was comparing the took heads next too each other. The 243s were stock. My heads looked alot better. The ports were opened up more, and them begging port n polished made them look alot better.I'm sure a set of work 243s would be better but It was nice to compare them.

Sounds like these heads are pretty good has anyone done a comparison against a Trick Flow GenX 205 or the WCCH 5.3 head?

where did you get this from? I sent an email to them not long ago, i forget the exact price but i know i got quoted close to $1,000 if not more for their work on some 5.3heads..
I know they do good work, but that wasnt even with cnc done like the prc's come with..

Trick flows are an aftermarket casting, the other two are not. Not really a fair comparison..

x2

I was really interested in some WCCH stage I's because I think they fit what I want to do. In the past I had seen posts where people said they ran $500-600 but when I called they told me around $900 plus I would have to ship them my heads. The PRC's are a new casting.

But in the past I think the posts I saw about the WCCH stage I's said that they were stock valve, but when I talked to them they told me that was with 1.94" valves, so some of the increased cost may be valves. I may not be remembering that correctly though.

Back in the day they were a 600 buck deal if I remember right, maybe he isn't wanting to do them any more or is doing more work on them now to justify the cost increase.

Yep 2.02" stainless intake and 1.57" stainless exhaust. They come with the PRC dual valvespring kit as well.
