I don't have a lot of trucks to compare mine to so estimating what mods I'll need is kind of tough. Looks like everyone that mods an HD seems to go FI which is out of my budget. I'm shooting to get about 360-370rwhp through this power robbing 4L80. From the couple of 1500/2500 HD's with LQ4's that I've seen, my intake, catback and Mail order Tune should have me around 300 right now. Would a cam, LT's and a Dyno tune get me close to what I'm shooting for. I'm just wanting to see 14's in a 3 ton brick for some reason
, may take a stall to get there (Stock Stall is 2600). What's the concensus? Am I wasting my time or is this a possible goal?

I've been tossing around the idea of the Dart LS1 heads and a custom grind from FMS since they are local for me. I figure my truck is probably good for a high 15 -16.0 as is. I'd like to take a second off of that If I could w/o lightening. Throwing heads in the mix starts to get the build tally up pretty good but guess you gotta pay to play. lol I'm just tired of hearing all the smack from the diesel drivers. I know I can't hang with a well tuned oil burner, but most of the strokes and 5.9 cummins around hear are tuned to run high 14's to low 15's D-maxes are a lil better. I just wanna be in the ballpark.
