Default E-Fans don't fit... DOH!

OK, so i went to install my F-Body e-fans today and they seem WAAAAYYY too small for my radiator, guess I have the 34inch (yea i should have meassured it LoL)... I am not upset because i'll just resell the F-Body fans and get a set of the 2005 Truck E-Fans...

So, i have read around here and see conflicting opinions on the Nelson harness for the 2005 Truck E-Fans, what exactly has to be change in the harness to use it with the Truck fans?

Thanks

I put some LT1 Efans on my buddies 04 Tahoe... he had the 34" Radiator.. and it keeps it plenty cool. He doesnt tow, just drives it and plays in the mud from time to time.

I just put in a 34" radiator and I am still using the LS1 fans. They seem to be working just as well as they did with the old radiator. They are cheaper than the 05 fans so as long as they keep the truck cool I will just stick with them.

I will install them today and give them a shot before i get rid of them, i am putting in a 160 Thermo so, that may help them... I do need to go get some rubber surround material so that the fans sit nice and flush... i'll let you guys know how they work out...

OK, got them in and wired.... Working like a charm so far! Love the feeling of that extra HP and the better throttle response... I also love how quiet they are (even at highspeed) compared to the Flex-A-Lites and even the truck e-fans (my buddy has a set)...

THanks for the help guys!

Anyone have size specs on those fans ? Mainly the distance they stick out from the radiator.
