If ya get a 6.0 get a lq9 or L92 6.2

You can get the 05-06 LQ4 with same internals -10hp as the LQ9 for cheaper, no?

ya for real...i got my 6.0 with 30k on it that needs to be honed with cylinder scoring for 300 bucks! complete with from the coils to the oil pan...internals look like brand new! im not paying extra for 10 horse that i can get back with a simple cam swap...

Great thead! SO lemme throw this wrench in here. I like the 6.0 for it's flexibility and power production. But those big valves, 2.00". what If I stick my 5.3 heads on the 6.0 with the stock 1.89" valves, will I not have a torque monster that would probably sign off just south ot 5,000 rpm....

Edit; What I'm lookin' for, and I think I speak for most of us here- is that iron- headed LT-1 snap off the bottom...........

Follow along with Zippy's thread. LQ4 + 5.3L heads milled at 58cc's. Should make a torque monster out of the naturally high revving 6.0L.
