Default potential 5.3 build

Hello everyone

Ive been trying to get everything in line for my 5.3 build and I was wondering if I could get some opinions. I have a 2000 lm7 thats apart and im rebuilding with new rings bearings and gaskets. I have a set of mildly ported ls6 heads im going to have milled 0.030 to match the compression of the other heads I have. with a set of good dual hive springs, I want to use the tr220 cam as I see it having the best gains for a off the shelf cam. paired with an ls6 intake, and a 100-150 shot of nitrous, I plan to see upper 400 lower 500 hp and torque to the wheels. does this sound correct? Ive been researching 5.3 builds and i wanna make sure im going in the right direction. Thanks

Tyler

run the tbss/nnbs intake over the ls6. you wont have to run any car accessories to make it fit since it came on the newer trucks. you may have to go to a returnless fuel setup however. im assuming with your cam swap you plan on using hardened pushrods too right?
