Is It Possible to Use 6L cat pipes on 4.8L exhaust manifolds on a 1/4ton Truck?

Personally I think it would be too much exhaust except if you heavily modified.... I am speaking frome experience, I have a 4.8 with a dI/do magnaflow. All I did was cut the factory pipes right before the Y and and 2 pipes and welded it all up. I believe I lost some bottom end, I will be switching back to a a single 3in soon as my headers get delivered....

btw also the 6.0 pipes are seperate dual pipes... they are not a "Y pipe" like the 5.3 and 4.8

they actually dont merge

yep, thats why Im curious about them. Theyd work great for true duals. Just run the pipes into a 2in/2out magnflow muffler.

IM SURE IT SHOULD BE CLOSE... MAY NOT JUST BOLT UP... BUT WORTH A SHOT... I'D BE SUPRISED IF SOMEONE HASNT DONE THIS YET

yep, It looks like magnaflow sells pipes from the manifolds to the tips. Pricy but stainless steel
