Default Possible Misfire? don't know whats wrong

alright well my truck has been actin funny for a while now. It does have a rough start SOMETIMES alot more lately then it use to actually. But not all the time and after it has beee started it idles jus fine the motor sounds perfect. But when I'm driving it something is noticibly wrong. Almost every time i try traveling at certain constant speed for ex. 35mph my rpms jump slightly up and I'd say about 200 or less rpms. it almost feels like it doesn't know what gear it wants to go to BUT If I put it in tow haul while its doin this sometimes the truck wilk downshift and run at a higher rpm and stop jumping up amd down. I've also noticed sometimes while its doing this if i try to accelerate slowly it seems to bog the truck down and the jumping gets worst i usually have to press the gas down far enough for it to downshift to make it stop or if im in the right MPH range just put the tow haul on and make it downshift . it only shows those symptoms in those cases if I punch the gas and accelwrate WOT the truck moves and never skips a beat. I thought it may have been the tranny but I took it to the tranny shop and the guy drove my truck and said it is only jumping back and forth about 200 rpm so it doesn't seem to be the tranny amd he suggested a misfire. I jus recently had a misfire on cylinder 7 code so I pulled thw fuel rail and injectors on the #7 side amd cleaned everything amd the code went away. But what I'm describing has been goin on long before that code popped up. Any suggestions?
