I just placed an order for a Posi unit and some 3.73:1 gears. I went with Auburn high performance series mainly because I have heard so many good things from it. I was thinking of going with the Auburn Pro series but I was told its only for hard core off roading or extreme horsepower applications. I think I got a very good deal. I only paid $515 for the posi unit, gears and installation kit. Oh shipping was free if your order exceeds $500. This shop that specializes in building engine, trans and rearends will intall everything for $190. So overall I think I got a pretty good deal. With my current setup, I ran my best time of 16.2(with traction problems). Now with the 3.73 and the posi unit, what do you all think I should be running?

I really do not know my time for the 60ft or the mph at finish. At the time, I was only concerned about my 1/4m time. After I intall everything and go to the speedway, I will post my time.

Your 60' and MPH are the two factor which whould most change/effect ET with traction problems...having these numbers would give you a better idea truely how much you stand to benefit.

How are those 4.56 gears. I really like my 4.10s they seem to free the motor up and kill the bog down effect these trucks have. Does it zip through the gears pretty quick and how is highway driving 5 Grand on the tach or is it decent?
