I was expecting early improvement, but my 60' 330'& 1/8 times up .15 sec.It hooks good with 28/25 rear psi but boggs. The 4.10/1 should have helped. I know it pulls my horse trailer better, does chevy have some sort of tq.limiter programed in it that my hypertech programer will not effect? Has anyone else had this problem?
The reason the install kicked my butt was the bearings that came in my auburn kit were a little to small, it was the third time in to set the (lashthatkeptchanging)that we noticed the bearing was allowing movement. We went with stock size bearings and all went well.
Am I wrong in thinking it sould be quicker? It looks to me like the 3.42/1 set-up shifting into third just passed the 1/4 line is the best.
any good advise welcome. Even bad advise might be considered. Thanks,Jim

I am not sure about your times. I would think that the gearing alone would help you get off the line. That is the hardest thing to do with these trucks anyway.

How good are the tires hooking? Try raising the launch RPM. Sounds like you are bogging off the line.

stock generals. Raised tire psi to 32/30 dropped
spare tire, adjusted shift points. ran better.
