My dad has a 03 Silverado ECSB 4x4. Its got an auto, 4.8, and 3.73s. Stock, she rips one tire strong but in the snow or rain its a pain to get going...she needs some help.
What I need to know is what rear end is in it? Some say 8.5. Some say 8.6. Also which spline? What is a good LSD to use?
Thanks
Nick

Another vote for Eaton here.
Picture of a happy customer.
(Use only 80-90 mineral-based Gear Oil and 4oz friction modifier)

Anyone have a P/N for me? Everytime I try to order one, I get the wrong one in the mail...the place is always like oh yea this is the one. I guess not
Other than the LSD, what else should I get?
Thanks
